4 Spring Nail Polish Trends

•  Blues: Blue is my favourite colour so I am really excited about it. Blue just makes you feel like you are on a luxurious cruise and I can almost hear the movement of the waves. What beautiful music to the ears. That is how colour blue makes me feel.I will like to know how blue makes you feel.There are so different shades but the best are bright blue, muted blue and periwinkle. Experiment with them but I can guarantee any shade will work with any body.

• Metallics: They give you this punk look. If you watch Jerseylicious you'll know what I'm talking about. Like a glam fairy(Alexa's company). Let your glammy fingers stay up.
• Greige: This is simply the mixture of  beige and gray together. It is what all celebs are wearing right now so I recommend it.
• Nude: Most people have been seen wearing nude dresses, skirts, tops and even accesories. Why not try it on your nails. It is such a colour that can go with any skin tone so try it!

Casey Cartwright  is such an epitome of style. She always looks good and I love her preppy, fun look. Her outfits are simple but chic. She makes them look effortless. If you want to dress like her, here are some tips:

• Pretty Blouses: Casey's idea of a cute top are those that have floral prints, silky blouses and patterned tanks. She makes them look feminine and flirty.

How To Dress For A Party In Ten Minutes.

1.  You don't need heavy make-up. Just use soft pink gloss, mascara, peach blush and concealer.These are things that work for any skin tone.
2. Make sure you have an LBD in your closet.You should also have a cute jacket.
3. Make sure your hair is neat by brushing and oiling it. You can leave it down or style it into a ponytail.Very chic and stylish.
4. Have a good pair of heels in your wardrobe. You know, the one that goes with any outfit.
5. Have a perfect and sophisticated bag or clutch.

If you follow all these rules, you are good to go.

5 Fashion Rules Made For You To Break

Some fashion rules are just plain tacky and here are some of them:

1. You should never wear gold and silver together.

Silver and gold are really together and can be worn in a stylish way. When wearing a solid palette of color like black, gold and silver will look really good. It makes the outfit look feminine and powerful.
2.Don't wear navy blue with brown or black. 
That is a very terrible rule. Those three colours can go together. For example, you can wear a navy blue dress and put a skinny brown belt in the middle and finish off the outfit with  a pair of black heels.That is so ultra modern.
3.Never wear denim on denim.
Denim on denim can be very cute together. The problem is that is very tricky. When wearing denim on denim, use different shades. You can wear a black top and layer it with a blue denim cropped jacket and wear a pair of white denim jeans. Next time you want to hit the streets, bring out your inner cowgirl!
4.You should never wear tights with opened toe shoes.
It depends on how you wear it. If you wear black peep toe heels and red tights, that is so tacky!  But if you wear a pair of leopard print platforms and wear black tights, you can easily pull of this look. Just remember to tuck the seams of your tights under your toes.
5.Your bag, belt and shoes have to match.
That is plain wrong! You can wear a yellow top with black jeans, a red belt, a pair of black heels and a black bag. Everything isn't the same colour and you still look good!

 

3 Comfortable But Stylish Outfits.

Some people try to look comfortable when they dress and end up looking like slobs. Some try to be stylish but end up looking overdressed. I have some tips on how to comfy but stylish at the same time.

1. Wearing a bright cotton top, a pair of well tailored jeans and a neutral blazer is very comfy. The cotton top is comfy because cotton is a very good material for clothes as it does not itch you or make you uncomfortable(most of my stuff are comfy).Jeans should be well tailored and firm on you so you don't have to keep dragging them on when they slither down.
2. Another thing I like is wearing a loose knit sweater with black jeans and a pair of black wedges. Loose kit sweaters are good because they are free and you won't feel hot in them.Wedges are great because they are not like heels that shake. They are firm on the ground.
3. I love wearing a cotton t-shirt with leggings and flats. You can add some cute accessories and layer it with a vest.It just makes you happy and cute at the same time. Leggings are great on anyone.

As you can see, there are different ways to look stylish and comfy.Practise them and become a style star.

3 Materials To Wear Jeans With

Velvet. Velvet mix well  with the rough textured of denim, making it feel more luxurious. They give you that sophisticated look that makes you stand out among people. When you wear velvet, you look like a queen 'cos velvet is a material for royalty. Lace. The trick of lace is to stay pretty much covered up- you can still flash the flesh but through the lace. Lace gives you that wow factor that gets everybody going wow! Metallic. Gold works well on darker skin tones, while bronze and pewter love fair skin. When you wear a metallic top, don't go for glittery shoes and accessories because you will end up looking like a Christmas tree on Christmas Eve. You know, when the lights are on and all the decor are on too. You won't look like a fashionista at all! These are some  materials to wear your jeans with. What are you waiting for? Go and get them!

How to look good in a photo

Some people complain that they look terrible in photos. Even popular people like Giuliana Rancic have said that they look terrible in photos. Here are some quick tips hat will make you look like a covergirl.

• Don't ever wear a turtle neck: Wearing a turtle neck to snap a picture is like deliberately trying to make yourself look bad. It will make you look really chunky and thick so stay away from turtlenecks.
• Always wear bright colors: Bright colours will make the camera pop out and it will look really pretty.
• Avoid wearing black: Don't wear black to snap a picture. Even if you want to wear black, make sure you add a pop of colour like a colourful scarf or necklace.
• Look cute: Wear something that is cue like a floral print dress or an of the shoulder top.
• Hair: Your hair should be be away from your face so the photographer can capture yourbeauty. If your hair is on your face, I think you want to copy Ozzy Osbourne.
• Bare Your Teeth: This is the most important tip. Just smile. A smile can make a very big difference to your face so smile!

Spring Trends of 2011

As we all know, this is spring and the atmosphere is full of vibrant colors and you can feel new things blossoming int the air. I want to tell you some spring trends:

• Color Blocking: It is simply the ability to mix two really bright colours together. All the designers are really using this style and it is really cute. If you are scared that you might overdo this look, let me give you some advice. Id you wear a bright top with two bright colours, opt for a neutral bottom. If you wear a 2 color bright dress, use a neutral belt or stick with black shoes so you don't end up looking like a rainbow. Remember, use neutral tones to tone it down. 
• Colorful Eyeliner: This is the time to say goodbye to black and brown and bring in some pop of colour. You can use sunny yellow or electric orange. Spring is all about colour and colored eyeliner will give you a pop! So go for it!

• Floral Patterns: Spring is all about blooming. What else blooms like a flower? Nothing! Personally I think floral prints are cute and it should be something everyone should wear.
